Code of Ethics

The Int Press Standards of Journalism

The credibility of The Int Press is our most valuable asset. Our readers rely on us for accurate, fair, and unbiased reporting. To maintain this trust, all reporters, editors, columnists, and contributors must strictly adhere to the following code of ethics.

1. Truth and Accuracy

We are committed to getting the facts right. Prior to publication, our journalists must verify information through credible, independent sources. Rumors or unverified claims must be explicitly identified as such, or withheld until verified.

2. Independence

The Int Press is entirely independent. Our journalism must be free of obligation to political interests, commercial sponsors, or advertisers. Staff members must avoid conflicts of interest, whether real or perceived, in their reporting.

3. Fairness and Impartiality

We strive for balance and fairness in our coverage, especially on controversial issues. Subjects of investigative reporting or serious criticism are always given a fair and reasonable opportunity to respond prior to publication.

4. Accountability and Corrections

When we make a mistake, we own it. The Int Press is committed to correcting errors promptly, transparently, and with due prominence across our digital channels. If you spot an error in our reporting, please notify our editors immediately at corrections@theintpress.com.

5. Protection of Sources

Confidential sources are vital to accountability journalism. We protect the identity of sources who face threats, retaliation, or professional jeopardy, provided their information is vetted and deemed vital to the public interest.
